Our Story
Table Top Hotel also referred to as Ettamogah Village is home of an Iconic Australian Hotel (formerly Ettamogah Pub). The novelty tourist spot is nestled just off the highway a few minutes north of the New South Wales/ Victoria border (561 Burma Road, Table Top NSW)
The original pub was built in 1987 by businessman Lindsay Cooper just as it was originally drawn in the famous Ken Maynard comics.
The pub stands at exaggerated, wacky proportions with its sloping walls and distinctive architectural style. The fun Aussie theme continues both inside and out with a truck on the roof, a crashed airplane in the garden and lots of quirky signs and decorations.
It is an amazing place to explore and a great stopover on your travels with a grassed oval out back and outdoor facilities including running toilets and a shower block. The grounds are suitable for those caravaning through to pitching a tent or rolling out a swag (and dogs are welcome). Camping is free when dining or purchasing drinks at the Table Top Hotel otherwise a small fee of $10 is payable at the front bar (this fee assists with upkeep of the facilities). Limited powered sites are available; if you want power site please phone 0448 655 588, if unpowered just turn up, we have plenty of rooms.
Ettamogah Village truly is a family friendly environment with good meals and cold refreshments.
Table Top Hotel is open every weekday between 11:00am to 8pm and every weekend from 10am to late for all your meals and refreshments.
The original pub is open every weekend between 11:30am – 3pm; for you to experience Australiana yesteryear.
